It is her best work yet!
Solo performances ranging from farmers' markets and wineries to full concerts in auditoriums and theaters, Brittany has sung all over Washington, and during the past two years, she has added Alabama, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin to her travels… And she’s only getting started!
She peppers her live sets with cover songs by her favorite artists—such as John Denver, Emmylou Harris, Gordon Lightfoot, Alison Krauss, Collin Raye, and Judy Collins, and her shows are always family friendly!
“Brittany Jean made her Methow Valley debut, captivating the audience with only her acoustic guitar and sensitive vocals as she performed what has become an anthem of the Carlton Complex Fire.” -Methow Valley News
“Brittany Jean... has a voice that is frequently likened to country megastar Alison Krauss. -Omak Chronicle
“Brittany Jean’s vocals combined with Nashville’s finest studio musicians makes for an enchanting and delightful listen, and as the song “Turn Right” proclaims, “We should do it all again...” The audience will hit repeat over and over again.” -Stormcave
“My family and I fell in love with this song from the moment we heard it. The powerful, lilting vocals are a perfect compliment to the inspiring lyrics and the haunting melody. The artist weaves a story through this tune in a way rarely seen in modern music. A refreshing, wonderful piece of music.”

Brittany Jean is an Americana singer/songwriter in the Pacific Northwest, currently living in the tiny, apple town of Brewster, WA. However, Brittany grew up in West Chicago, IL.
Brittany’s style is rooted in the country and folk music she’s loved all her life. As with all artists, her own favorite singers and songwriters (such as Alison Krauss, John Denver, and Gordon Lightfoot) have influenced her techniques and her writing, shaping and infusing her own personal style.
Brittany Jean stepped into a recording studio for the first time in October 2012, and she has since released three albums. “Whispered Stories” was released in September 2013, and it was completed with the help of fans—making her debut album even more special. Brittany’s second album (“Leavin’ Home”) was released in March 2016. From songs about small-town days to songs about trying to find wild horses, there is a more acoustic feel to this second album than the first, and Brittany hopes fans love the difference as much as she does!
“Leavin' Home” includes Brittany Jean’s song “Wildfire", which was written in response to first-hand experience during the Carlton Complex Wildfires of 2014 (the largest wildfires in Washington State history at the time—a record broken the following year). This song was a centerpiece for the fundraising effort of the Carlton Complex Longterm Recovery Group, whose purpose is to rebuild the 300+ homes that were lost that summer of 2014.
“Leavin' Home” also includes Brittany Jean's song "Adventure"—written about wild horses and a family Christmas in North Carolina. “Adventure” was nominated for the Independent Music Awards in the category for Bluegrass Song of the Year in 2016!
In 2016, Brittany was a finalist in both the The Bates Ford Talent Showcase in Lebanon, Tennessee and the Gulf Coast Songwriter Shootout in Orange Beach, Alabama.
Brittany Jean completed a solo 4-Concert Tour at the Snowy Owl Theater in Leavenworth, the Ruby Theatre in Chelan, The Merc Playhouse Theater in Twisp, and Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop in November and December 2016 to help raise funds for the continuing Wildfire Recovery Effort on behalf of the Carlton and Okanogan Complex Recovery Group.
Brittany’s song “A Little Bit of Someday” won the lyrical category for the Your Music Out Loud In The USA song competition (based in Nashville) in December 2017.
2017 was a year of performing. Stretching from coast to coast to sing in new states, new towns, and new venues, Brittany is finding her audience—her fellow wanderers, and that is by far her favorite part.
2017 was also a year of writing and recording. After about 15 months of work and heart, Brittany Jean’s third album (“Wander With Me") was released on January 18, 2018!
Brittany Jean's music is always family friendly!
